nikolai gogol man… I’ll tell you what. I hope to illustrate this story someday, it’s short and so creepy. I could run along with crazy monster designs and pull a joann sfar on everyone.
I have yet to watch the Viy movie but I found a sample the other day and, despite the B movie effects, it was pretty creepy.

((I want someone to make a movie out of this. A story about three girl frienndsss, probably set in a private school in the UK; it can be a mix between Heathers and Mean Girls and The Craft maybe?? They turn on each other but at the end, girl power will reign supreme, because they have to work together to stop the evil Headmaster who is turning students into goats for some kind of final satanic ritual. Cue lots of swearing, punching and kissing boys (maybe even girls who knows??), badmouthing and kung fu action. Yes this sounds like good disney channel material.))
